I live in the Santa Monica / Venice area and I've been turning rooms around for friends for years: organizing, painting, repairing, and finding great furniture secondhand. My boyfriend has stopped asking about the Marketplace pickups.
I work fast, I stick to the budget, and I design for how you actually live. No beige showroom. It'll look like you, just more put-together.
Do I have to pick anything out?
No. Tell me what you like (or show me a few photos) and I'll handle the rest. You get a final say on the plan before I start.
What does it cost?
It depends on the room and what we're buying. After the free walkthrough you get one number for my work plus a furniture budget you set. Lots of rooms get done for less than one new sofa.
Do I need to be home?
Only for the walkthrough. After that, most clients leave a key and come back when it's finished.
I rent. Can you still paint and hang things?
Yes. I work within your lease, use renter-friendly options where needed, and can patch and repaint when you move out.
Can I book this for someone else?
Yes. Girlfriends, sisters and friends book walkthroughs as gifts all the time. Put their name in the form and I'll reach out to them.
